Lieder - Songs - Canciones

In my concert repertoire – besides the most important composers of classical songs (Lieder), whether from German-speaking area (Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Brahms, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, Wolf, Mahler, Reger, Strauss) or from English, French, Italian or obviously Spanish, Southamerican, Brazilian and Portuguese composers – I always include, following the noble vocal tradition cherished by great singers of the past and also by some contemporary, and depending on the events and circumstances, classical jazz and musical songs, spirituals, evergreens, with important works by, among others, Kurt Weil, George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Jerome Kern, Leonard Bernstein, Richard Rogers, etc., and of course the rich repertoire of our zarzuela composers.
